Harbor/Gaslamp Scooter Tour - 1 Hour

Hop on a scooter and explore the Downtown and Balboa areas on this self-guided tour. Quickly get a feel for the city as you cruise around. Don't worry about navigation– The scooter's talking GPS will keep you on track, so you can focus on having fun.

The harbor tour takes you on a multi-cultural tour of San Diego, starting in Little Italy, where you learn about the rise and fall of San Diego’s Italian population, your tour continues past the maritime history museum, the USS Midway, and into beautiful Seaport Village. You also get to travel past Horton Plaza which just begs to be visited again after the tour ends. After Horton Plaza you make your way into the heart of San Diego, with a quick loop around the Home of San Diego Padres, and into the Historic Gaslamp Quarter, which after its reinvention is MUCH more family friendly then it used to be. As you leave the Gaslamp Quarter you will enter Banker’s Hill with it's unique shops, also borders the always beautiful Balboa Park.

1 Scooter will hold a maximum of 1 person and prices are per person.
2 person minimum required/
Must be 15 years or older to rent riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at all times. Must possess a major credit card and valid government issued picture ID (international license is not necessary, international passport accepted). Scooters do not accommodate passengers of any kind.
On the day of rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the Scooter is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental.
Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments.
Scooters must be returned to rental location before dusk.

You will start in historic Little Italy that was home to the Italian community and see how it evolved into the modern business and artistic community it is today. Make your past the ships in the bay that explored the new world, or patrolled the waters in time of war, into the Gaslamp Quarter which was once San Diego’s red-light district and see how it got re-imagined into the social scene it is today.
